Kiyonari, Honda, 1m 25.512s, 93.16mph, 17/09/06 LOCATION Silverstone is located on the A43 between Towcester and Brackley in Northamptonshire. The circuit is just 65 miles from Birmingham and 80 miles from London. Travellers using the M1 should use junction 15A, taking the A43, while those using the M40 need to exit at junction 10. ABOUT SILVERSTONE Silverstone Circuit has come a long way since it was turned from a wartime airfield into a motor racing circuit. It is now one of the world's most famous motor sport venues. The track itself is very flat and very wide, with the exception of the 'Bridge' section the track had hardly any undulation. With excellent facilities and plenty of grandstand seating it is a great place to come and watch, although you can only see a few corners from any one point, large live screens are normally in use so you wont miss a thing.
