ABOUT THRUXTON
Thruxton circuit
is an old airfield, it is fast, flat and open, and is one of the fastest
tracks in the UK.
Thruxton has always been famous for 2 things, the sheer speed the bikes
reach and the bumpy track. Most of the track has been resurfaced since
2000, which has improved the surface conditions and ironed out a number
of the bumps, but believe me, it is still a long way off being 'smooth'.
The circuit is demanding both on the riders courage and the machine's
set up with 135mph + corners like Church. Spectators have a great view
at Campbell, Cobb and Segrave bends.
