Byrne, Suzuki, 48.474s, 94.41mph, 16/07/06 LOCATION Knockhill in Southern Scotland is located 5 miles north of Dunfermline, just off the A823 in the county of Fife, less then an hour away from Edinburgh and Glasgow. From the South the M74 is the best bet, exiting at junction 4 onto the M73 which joins the A80. At junction 4 on the A80 take the M876 and cross the Kincardine Bridge. The area operates a park and ride on free buses so follow the local access signs. From the North exit at junction 4 of the M90 onto the B914, again, please follow the local park and ride signs. About Knockhill Knockhill is Scotland's
leading motor sport venue, incorporating a 4x4 track, Karting, Minimotos
and a choice of driving experiences it has something to offer everone.
The circuit itself is small and twisty with a little bit of everything,
it has drops, rises, fast and slow corners, blind corners and add to
that the ability for rain to appear from a blue sky, it's a track that
will always impress. |
