SPONSORSHIP
INFORMATION
All
Motorsport is expensive and therefore Sponsorship is, almost by definition,
an integral part.
Motorcycle
Racing at National/British Championship level is no exception and a
years Superstock Racing can realistically cost in the region of £60,000
!
Whilst
a big 'Headline' sponsor is incredibly valuable to any team from a financial
perspective, it also brings a clear team identity, which has an intrinsic
value all of its own. Clearly few Companies or individuals either want
or can afford to Sponsor to this level, whatever the rewards, but Sponsorship
comes in many different levels.
With Kenny
Gilbertson Racing sponsorship can start from a single share in the team
for just £10. Apart from free giveaways and raffles many people
over the last couple of years have enjoyed their sporting passion much
more by feeling like they belong to a team and following the results
avidly.
For those
who may benefit from a higher level of sponsorship there are many options
including bike, leather, truck, awning and website advertising and the
possibility of corporate style hospitality. Kenny's regular visits to
the commentary positions to see and assist the series commentator Fred
also raise the team and sponsors profile to the spectators who are in
their tens of thousands. Progressing to the National Superstock class
in 2007 also brings the potential TV exposure made possible by major
network coverage of the whole series.
